Smartphones are sold in India from both offline and online stores, but there are many times when a fake or stolen smartphone reaches someone’s hands and they are not even aware of it. Now we will show you that how to find out about the real and fake smartphones.
The Department of Telecommunication has devised a way by which people will be able to easily get information about their phones. If you also want to identify the phone, then you will be able to get information through a message.
Following are the three ways to find your smartphone is real or stolen-
- The first way is that you can check your phone by going to https://ceir.gov.in/Device/CeirIMEIVerification.jsp and entering the mobile number, OTP and IMEI number.
- Second way to Type KYM <15 digit IMEI number> from your mobile and send it to 14422.
The third way is to download the ‘No Your Mobile app’ from the Play Store (for Android) or the App Store (for iOS).
