1. Eat a Healthy Diet
Eat a combination of foods, including fruit, legumes, vegetables, whole grains and nuts. Everyone should eat fruits and vegetables everyday. You should always eat vegetables in our diet plan. Eat fresh vegetables and fruits and try to eat different varieties. By eating healthy food you save yourself from lot of diseases.
2. Don’t Smoke
Tobacco causes heart disease, lung disease and stroke. It’s never late to quit. You will experience long term health benefits. Tobacco not kills only direct smokers but non smokers with passive smoking.
3. Avoid harmful drinking of alcohol.
There is no safe level for drinking alcohol as we think. Consuming alcohol can lead to lot of health problems such as mental disorders, behavioral disorders, alcohol dependence, liver cirrhosis, cancers and heart diseases etc. So quit now.
4. Be Active
Physical activity is very important to keep you healthy and active. It includes exercise and activities undertaken while working, playing, carrying out household chores and traveling. People aged 18-64 years should do at least 150 minutes of moderate-intensity physical activity throughout the week. Increase moderate-intensity physical activity to 300 minutes per week for additional health benefits.
