WhatsApp is now working on a new feature after which you will be able to easily backup your Android phone’s WhatsApp chat on Apple’s iPhone. Earlier this work was done through a third party app.
According to a report by WABetaInfo, the chat history migration feature from Android to iOS will be available through an update, although the report does not say when its update will come. A screenshot has also surfaced with the report showing a popup notification for a chat history backup in iPhone’s WhatsApp.
According to the report, as soon as a user will link their WhatsApp account to another operating system, at the same time, they will get a popup notification for upgrading to a new app and for data migration. This feature of chat history migration is a part of multi device support. WABetaInfo also gave information about this feature last year.
Earlier, in a recent report by WABetaInfo, it was also said that soon the mobile app will not need to be connected to the internet for the WhatsApp web, i.e., even if your phone is not connected to the internet, you can still use WhatsApp on the web version.
